Seek out exotic wildlife and colourful floras and faunas while trekking through the lush, tropical jungle and interacting with local hill tribes. On the return journey, stop at a Bear rescue center to learn about Vietnam’s environmental threats.
Founded in 1998 Feb, the Government issued a decision to establish Cat Tien National Park with an area of 73,878 ha (including Cat Loc Nature Reserve in Lam Dong province and a part of Nghia Trung Forest Enterprise).
On November 10, 2001, Cat Tien National Park was recognized by UNESCO as the 411th biosphere reserve and the second biosphere reserve of Vietnam.
On August 4, 2005, the Bau Sau Wetland Area of the Park was recognized by the Ramsar Convention Secretariat as being included in the list of wetlands of international importance. This is the 1,499th wetland in the world and the second in Vietnam.
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh City – Nam Cat Tien (L/D)
08.00 AM, Inbound Vietnam Travel’s guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel then leave bustling Ho Chi Minh City behind for the serenity and greenery of the lush forests of Cat Tien National Park, one of Vietnam’s top national parks on a 3-hour land and water transfer. After a local ferry to the other side of the Dong Nai River followed by lunch, transfer by the lodge buggy to the National Park Center to begin your short trek through the jungle to observe wildlife up close. Return to the lodge for dinner before heading back to the National Park Center where you’ll transfer to a car for an exciting night excursion deep into the park using a spotlight to see the nocturnal wildlife. Return to your lodge by buggy where you’ll enjoy a good night’s rest with the sounds of the jungle as nature’s soundtrack.

Day 2 : Nam Cat Tien Trekking (B/L/D)
After breakfast, be transferred by lodge buggy to the National Park Center followed by a 30 min drive through the forest to the starting point of our trek. We trek 5km (3mi) to the Crocodile Lake, stopping often to view the myriad varieties of birds and possibly larger mammals. The lake is home to the endangered Siamese crocodile and is one of the last places in the world where they can be seen in the wild. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Return to the lodge by buggy or trek your way back before settling in for a well-earned rest and dinner.

Day 3 : Nam Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
In the morning, be transferred by lodge buggy to the National Park Center for a short trek around the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Center, a rescue and rehabilitation centre for endangered primates including gibbons with the aim of returning them to the wild.
Nam Cat Tien National Park is home to several species of gibbon, including the gold-cheeked and black-crested varieties and a Bear rescue center. Return to the lodge by buggy around midday for lunch. Take a local ferry ride to return to the other side of the river where your driver awaits to drive you back to Ho Chi Minh in the late afternoon.

Payment term and changes
The terms and conditions described below are an integral part of any agreement, oral or written, between Inbound Vietnam Travel Company (hereinabove referred to as IVN) and a physical client or legal person (referred to as “the Customer”).
In the absence of another agreement/contract between Inbound Vietnam Travel and the Customer is fully governed by these Terms and Conditions, which is the commitment to purchase tour services.
1. Deposits & Payment Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure.
In some specific cases, we can accept payment upon arrival. Accordingly, the Customer must pay the remaining amount on the first day of the trip. In case of non-compliance with this commitment without the consent of IVN, IVN reserves the right to cancel the trip without refunding the deposit paid by the Customer.
From the payment of a deposit or balance, Inbound Vietnam Travel creates a receipt and sends the Customer before or upon arrival in Vietnam, or by email or fax, or by hand at IVN’s office.
2. Payment Method

- One Pay payment gateway: The Customer can pay by credit card via a secure online payment system (3.5% service charge is applied to Visa/Master cards; 4.5% service charge is applied to AMEX cards)
- Cash: The cash payment is made at Inbound Vietnam Travel’s office or with persons designated. In this case, no fee is required.
3. Cancellation Policy
At Inbound Vietnam Travel, we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our guests but we must abide by the cancellation policy of each service provider. Bellows are general cancellation policy for:
Cancellation from date of confirmation to 30 to 7 days before departure date: only the deposit is forfeited as processing fees.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before departure date or no show: charge 100% of total amount.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is highly recommended to anyone who takes part in a trip organized by IVN to have travel insurance cover contracted in their home country. IVN may have to ask the Customer for certificate of insurance and assistance.
