Day 1 : Hanoi Arrival (D)

You will be welcomed by Inbound Vietnam Travel’s tour guide and driver at Noi Bai International Airport and be transferred to the city center for check-in your hotel. Free at own leisure till late afternoon, our tour guide will come back and pick you up for an easy walk around Hoan Kiem lake – the heart of Hanoi to a water puppet theatre for an hour traditional performance before having a welcoming dinner at a cozy restaurant. Then enjoy your free time again to explore the bustling Old Quarter (Pho Co).

Day 2 : Hanoi city tour (B/L)

After breakfast at hotel, we will firstly take a visit to Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and its complex with its beautiful garden where Stilt House and One Pillar Pagoda built-in.
View the outside of the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum then stroll through the garden to the Ho Chi Minh Stilt House where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 until he passed away in 1969. This simple two-room dwelling has been preserved in the same condition as during his life and can be viewed through the windows. Continue to the special architecture 11th century One Pillar Pagoda which was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954.
Secondly, visit the Temple of Literature – The first royal academy of the country.
The Temple of Literature has a peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateways, and this monument is one of the best-preserved examples of traditional Vietnamese architecture. Founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, this was also the site of Vietnam’s first university. In one courtyard, giant stone tortoises bear stele on their backs, listing the accomplishments of graduating scholars.
Break for lunch at a local restaurant.
Thirdly, visit the Museum of Ethnology – one of the 25 most attractive museums in Asia.
The museum was opened in 1997 to preserve and introduce most of the richest culture, traditions of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. It is a place which is combined with a very green and tranquil garden behind where you can see and learn more about some of very popular architectures as King people’s traditional house, Ede tribe’s longhouse, Bana tribe’s communal house, Stilt house of Tay tribe…
Hanoi is a blend of long-established traditions and modern imprints of Western colonization. Tree-lined boulevards and colonial buildings give the city a touch of Western elegance, while crowded blocks of tiny old houses and narrow lanes full of daily life bear the charms of the past centuries. Take 60 minutes ride on an electric car or a tricycle through Quan Su Pagoda, Silk Road, Hanoi Railway and Hoa Lo Prison then Hanoi Opera House. Free evening.

Day 3 : Hanoi – Sapa via highway (B/L/D)

Today, we will check out the hotel and say goodbye Hanoi and depart for Sapa town by a five-hour drive via highway. We stop a few times on the way for stretching your legs and have some tea, coffee and local products.
Once at Sapa, you will check in to your hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon there will be a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H'mong hill tribe minority peoples. As you walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, you will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here you will have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area.

Day 4 : Sapa (B/L)

Following breakfast, you will explore the Sapa market and then set out on a 3-4 hour trek that will take you along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to H'mong and Dzay people. This is a spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way to Ta Van village. Once at Tavan, you will be pick up again by our driver and transfer back to Sapa.

Day 5 : Sapa - Hanoi (B/L)

Enjoy your free time in Sapa or buy tickets to travel up to Fansipan peak – the roof of Indochina. Lunch in town before another drive to get back to Hanoi. Arrive back in the late afternoon. Free at own leisure.

Day 6 : Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

In the morning, you will drive to Halong City, approximately 3 hours away. Once at Halong City, you will board a cruise for a luxurious stay in the UNESCO heritage. As you are cruising, the boat crew will serve you a sumptuous local seafood lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on the sundeck. Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. In the evening, you have free time again for relaxing or joining in some games or night squid fishing.
Overnight in Halong Bay.

Day 7 : Halong – Da Nang – Hoi An (B/Br)

Rise early and greet the day with a refreshing Tai Chi demonstration on the top deck. The sun rises on Halong in the morning and breakfast is served while the cruise slowly moves through the magnificent rock formations and back towards the pier. You will check out your cabin and have free time to relax in the restaurant or on the sundeck till brunch time. Arrive back to the harbour at noon, disembark and transfer back to Hanoi via 5B highway for your flight to Da Nang. Be welcomed at Da Nang airport and escorted to Hoi An ancient town. Check-in the hotel and enjoy your free time to discover it at night.

Day 8 : Hoi An (B/L)

Hoi An was a major Asian trading centre in the 17th and 18th century and many of the original buildings remain. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the ancient town centre, including the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge and the colourful local market area of this unique UNESCO-designated World Heritage city. Today, let’s have a walking tour in the town to visit these must–see spots. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 9 : Hoi An (B/D)

You will have a morning cycle tour through the paddy fields down to the nearby beaches to have relaxed swimming on Cua Dai or An Bang beach. Next, there will be free time in the afternoon before a cooking class at a restaurant and dinner with what you cook under instruction by our skilful chef.
Overnight in Hoian.

Day 10 : Hoi An (B)

You have free time for the entire day. Or you can choose to visit My Son ancient capital of Cham Pa kingdom or go to Cham island for swimming and diving (at own cost).

Day 11 : Hoi An - Nha Trang (B)

You will transfer to Da Nang Airport for a flight to Nha Trang. Check-in hotel and enjoy free time on one of the most beautiful beaches on earth.

Day 12 : Nha Trang (B/L)

You will have a full day boat trip to Nha Trang bay, including a seafood lunch and snorkelling in Nha Trang Bay.

Day 13 : Nha trang - HCMC (B/D)

In the morning, after breakfast and hotel check out, you will be transferred to the Cam Ranh airport and take a flight to Ho Chi Minh city. In the afternoon, you will have a private city tour to visit the most famous beauty spots in the city as the Central Post office, Notre Dam church, Independence Palace and Museum of War Remnants then stop at a local restaurant for dinner. The cuisine of the south uses many herbs and spices and has been influenced by Cambodia, Thailand and India, among others. Curries using coconut milk are an example of this influence. The south also has a wide selection of tropical fruits and vegetables that are not readily available in the cooler north. Free in the evening. Let explore the walking street and international crossroad – Pham Ngu Lao street where locals and foreigners hang out.

Day 14 : Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong delta (B/L)

Early morning, let departure for Ben Tre province. The drive is about 1,5 hours long. Ben Tre province is the gateway to the Mekong Delta – the home to about 20 million people and the largest rice barn of the country. At Huu Dinh Hamlet, take a tri-motorcycle ride down narrow village roads to explore the lush surroundings of rice paddies and fruit farms before boarding the cruise ship where a refreshing coconut welcome drink awaits as you enjoy rustic river scenes. Shore excursions include a small home factory making handicrafts from Ben Tre’s famous coconuts and a brick workshop where bricks are made by hand using centuries-old traditional methods.
Take a 5-7km (3-4mi) bicycle trip around Phong Nam village on flat trails with stops at a rice noodle factory and the home of a local family where you can observe local life while sampling tropical fruit and honey tea. Explore some of the Delta’s famed waterways via rowing sampan boat before enjoying lunch at a very cozy restaurant.
After lunch, we continue to bike around the area to immerse in the tranquillity and fresh air of the delta before heading back to busy HCMC and visit some other local families as you want. Return by motorboat to the Hung Vuong Pier in Ben Tre city to get back in our car and drive back to the hotel in HCM city center.

Day 15 : Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi tunnel & street food on vintage vespa (B/L/D)

In the morning, we will drive 1 hour to visit Cu Chi tunnels. Cu Chi tunnels consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War. Lunch before returning to the city center. Back to the hotel to relax till late afternoon, we will jump on a vintage Vespa to have a unique street food tour. Be met by our experienced driver and be briefed quickly so you can have an overview of the trip then hop on the back of the Vespa to start your adventure.

Day 16 : Ho Chi Minh city – Departure (B)

 

Free at own leisure till transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport to take your flight home.

Payment term and changes

The terms and conditions described below are an integral part of any agreement, oral or written, between Inbound Vietnam Travel Company (hereinabove referred to as IVN) and a physical client or legal person (referred to as “the Customer”).
In the absence of another agreement/contract between Inbound Vietnam Travel and the Customer is fully governed by these Terms and Conditions, which is the commitment to purchase tour services.
1. Deposits & Payment Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure. 
In some specific cases, we can accept payment upon arrival. Accordingly, the Customer must pay the remaining amount on the first day of the trip. In case of non-compliance with this commitment without the consent of IVN, IVN reserves the right to cancel the trip without refunding the deposit paid by the Customer.
From the payment of a deposit or balance, Inbound Vietnam Travel creates a receipt and sends the Customer before or upon arrival in Vietnam, or by email or fax, or by hand at IVN’s office.
2. Payment Method
The Customer can choose the following payment methods:

- Cash: The cash payment is made at Inbound Vietnam Travel’s office or with persons designated. In this case, no fee is required.
3. Cancellation Policy
At Inbound Vietnam Travel, we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our guests but we must abide by the cancellation policy of each service provider. Bellows are general cancellation policy for:
Cancellation from date of confirmation to 30 to 7 days before departure date: only the deposit is forfeited as processing fees.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before departure date or no show: charge 100% of total amount.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is highly recommended to anyone who takes part in a trip organized by IVN to have travel insurance cover contracted in their home country. IVN may have to ask the Customer for certificate of insurance and assistance.
