ITINERARY

Day 1 : Saigon - Cai Be - Embark in Can Tho - Tiger Island

Lunch at Le Longanier Restaurant in Cai Be.
"Đờn ca tài tử" performance (traditional Mekong instrumental music) onboard the ship.
Sundowners and gala dinner on board.
Depart Saigon via coach and drive towards Can Tho, the beating heart of the Mekong Delta. Stop at the rustic, riverside town of Cai Be where lunch is served at the elegant Le Longanier Restaurant set amidst lush fruit trees by the river. Continue to Can Tho, arriving mid-afternoon and board the Victoria Mekong Cruise Ship.
As the ship cruises towards Long Xuyen, watch the sunset over the Hau River, sundowner in hand. As day turns into night, enjoy a traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music performance known as don ca tai tu, followed by a Vietnamese dinner buffet to officially welcome you aboard your Victoria Mekong Cruise.
Overnight near Long Xuyen.

Day 2 : Tiger Island - Long Xuyen - Vam Nao (B/L/D)

Morning shore excursions:
Visit Long Xuyen Floating Market and the An Giang Museum in Long Xuyen.
Afternoon offshore excursions:
Visit Tiger Island, stopping to see people weaving fishing nets, making incense or carving wood. Travel by sampans or by local "xe loi".
After breakfast tender ashore to visit the colourful Long Xuyen Floating Market and the An Giang Traditions Museum, with fascinating exhibits on Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer and Cham cultures in the region. After lunch on the ship head ashore and explore Tiger Island by "xe loi" or by sampan, visiting a woodcarver and cottage industries such as net weaving and incense shops. Visit a pagoda locally known as “Mr. Tiger’s Temple”, hear the story that won the island its name. Return to the ship and enjoy lunch while cruising towards the provincial capital of Long Xuyen in the Mekong Delta. Return on board in time for dinner and the evening’s entertainment as the ship continues cruising to Vam Nao where we overnight.

Day 3 : Vam Nao - Tan Chau (B/L/D)

Morning shore excursions:
Visit a famous Silk Farm village to observe the whole process of producing silk in the traditional way, using only natural products (silk thread, dyes made of tree bark, leaves and fruit).
Afternoon shore excursions with the following options:
Visit fish farms and a Taoist Temple.
Visit Tra Su Forest (optional).
Lion Dance performance on the ship.
Enjoy breakfast as the ship makes its way to the border town of Tan Chau. Travel by local rickshaw to a silk village to witness all the labour-intensive steps to producing this fine textile, including the use of natural dyes made from tree bark, leaves and fruit.
After lunch on board, visit more Mekong Delta attractions, including floating fish farms and a Taoist Temple where you will get your fortune told. There is also an option to travel by speedboat to Chau Doc to see the submerged forest of Tra Su, known for its abundant birdlife and picturesque mangroves.
Return to the ship in time for a traditional Vietnamese lion dance, followed by dinner and the evening’s entertainment. Overnight near Tan Chau.

Day 4 : Tan Chau - Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Cruise to Phnom Penh, including the border crossing. Enjoy on-board entertainment including cocktail competition.
On-board Apsara dance performance on arrival in Phnom Penh.
Farewell cocktail party and gala dinner.
As the ship begins cruising towards the Vietnam-Cambodia border, enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the restaurant.
After, select from the many onboard activities including a ship’s tour, cocktail competition and cultural lecture. We arrive late afternoon in the charming capital of Phnom Penh, once known as the “Pearl of the Orient” for its French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic riverwalk. Before the farewell gala dinner, take in a performance of Khmer Apsara dancing by a troupe of local dancers with the opportunity to meet them afterwards. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 5 : Phnom Penh - Disembarkation (B)

Disembarkation.
Enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking at Sisowath Quay, Phnom Penh’s downtown riverside promenade.

Payment term and changes

The terms and conditions described below are an integral part of any agreement, oral or written, between Inbound Vietnam Travel Company (hereinabove referred to as IVN) and a physical client or legal person (referred to as “the Customer”).
In the absence of another agreement/contract between Inbound Vietnam Travel and the Customer is fully governed by these Terms and Conditions, which is the commitment to purchase tour services.
1. Deposits & Payment Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure. 
In some specific cases, we can accept payment upon arrival. Accordingly, the Customer must pay the remaining amount on the first day of the trip. In case of non-compliance with this commitment without the consent of IVN, IVN reserves the right to cancel the trip without refunding the deposit paid by the Customer.
From the payment of a deposit or balance, Inbound Vietnam Travel creates a receipt and sends the Customer before or upon arrival in Vietnam, or by email or fax, or by hand at IVN’s office.
2. Payment Method
The Customer can choose the following payment methods:

- Cash: The cash payment is made at Inbound Vietnam Travel’s office or with persons designated. In this case, no fee is required.
3. Cancellation Policy
At Inbound Vietnam Travel, we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our guests but we must abide by the cancellation policy of each service provider. Bellows are general cancellation policy for:
Cancellation from date of confirmation to 30 to 7 days before departure date: only the deposit is forfeited as processing fees.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before departure date or no show: charge 100% of total amount.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is highly recommended to anyone who takes part in a trip organized by IVN to have travel insurance cover contracted in their home country. IVN may have to ask the Customer for certificate of insurance and assistance.
