Khanh Hoa welcomes more than 300 Russian tourists with vaccine passports

On the morning of December 26, Khanh Hoa Tourism Department held a ceremony to welcome Russian tourists with "vaccine passports" to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

A Russian tourist group arrived in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa with 325 people on flight number ZF743 of Azur Air, which took off from Vnukovo International Airport, Moscow, Russia.

This is an important milestone when Khanh Hoa province welcomes the first Russian tourists back after nearly 2 years of being frozen because of the COVID-19 epidemic. Recently, Cam Ranh International Airport has also been approved by the International Airport Council Organization to renew the airport's certificate of sanitary and epidemiological safety.

After landing, visitors will move along a separate lane to carry out immigration procedures and conduct health screening at the airport, install PC-COVID, IGOVN apps before departure. Transfer about 15 minutes to stay at resorts and hotels in Bai Dai area, Cam Lam district such as Selectum Noa Resort Cam Ranh, Cam Ranh Riviera Beach Resort & Spa, Vinpearl Nha Trang resort hotel... The place has been allowed to welcome international guests in a separate area, ensuring no contact with the community, not affecting the activities of other tourists...

During their stay in Khanh Hoa, tourists will be able to visit and experience many famous tourist sites and attractions in the province such as VinWonder Nha Trang amusement park, Ana Marina Nha Marina Park. Page; Sea tour on Nha Trang Bay, city tour program, shopping and dining at some locations have been licensed to welcome international tourists.

As expected, from December 26, 2021 to March 23, 2022, Azur Air and Anex Vietnam Trade and Tourism Co., Ltd will organize 26 flights to bring Russian tourists from Moscow to Moscow. Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa with 02 flights/week, each trip will have from 320 to 340 Russian tourists.

In general, in 2021 of Khanh Hoa tourism industry, the total number of visitors staying for the whole year is estimated at nearly 643,000 arrivals, equal to 12.84% of the plan, down 48.55% over the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, international visitors were estimated at nearly 23,000 arrivals, down 94.81% and domestic tourists were estimated at nearly 620,000 arrivals, down 23.56% over the same period. The average occupancy of the whole year is estimated at 8.4%.

After more than a month of implementing "Pilot to welcome international tourists", Khanh Hoa has welcomed 13 international passenger flights from Korea, Japan and Malaysia with nearly 3,000 guests to Khanh Hoa.

As of December 26, in Khanh Hoa province, there are 39 establishments that meet the conditions allowed to welcome international tourists with "vaccine passports", of which, there are 26 tourist accommodation establishments in the region. North of Cam Ranh peninsula and isolated area; 7 tourist zones and attractions; 2 shopping facilities and 4 transport and tour operators.
