The former French hill station of Dalat once called ‘Le Petit Paris’ is located 300 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City in the Central Highlands.
It is an ideal place to escape from the heat of southern Vietnam. Dalat’s climate is much cooler than the surrounding area because of its elevation, 1,500 meters above sea level. This tour is ideal for travellers or expats with limited time and can be reserved with 2 options of travelling on land or overland.
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh City - Dalat (L/D)
After your breakfast at the hotel, Inbound Vietnam Travel’s guide and driver will pick you up and then transfer you up the hills to Dalat.
On the scenic 6,5-hour drive along Highway 20 to Da Lat, you will have a chance to view the beautiful scenery on the way with different types of terrain and we will stop sometimes at some of the tea and coffee plantations where you can learn about the history and ways of tea and coffee planting – Vietnam is the top second coffee exporter of the world.
Lunch is served at the stunning Dambri Falls, which is just 15 km away from Highway 20. Upon arrival in Da Lat, sometimes known as the City of Eternal Spring, our guide will walk downtown to get a first touch of the delightful city. In the evening, you will have dinner at one of the most romantic restaurants in Dalat. Free afterward. You can find some very nice cafes or bars with live music to immerse you in the tranquillity of the mountain city.
Overnight in Dalat.
Day 2 : Dalat (B/L)
In the morning, our guide and driver will take you out to enjoy a private tour of Da Lat and the surrounding areas.
The first stop is Bao Dai Palace, the rather bizarre and very aptly named Crazy House, a brightly painted concrete house that winds itself around trees, mimicking their shapes. It now functions as a guesthouse. Next visit is Truc Lam Thien Vien and Pagoda. Then you can walk into Dalat market where you can see locals selling Dalat’s famous agricultural products such as fresh flowers, fruits, and lots of souvenirs.
After lunch, for those interested, there is a short train ride on the Cremaillere railway to the village of Tri Mat. In the evening, you will have your free time to explore the city and have your dinner.
Overnight in Dalat.
Day 3 : Dalat departure (B)
You have free time to stroll around the Dalat market again or just relax at your leisure until we transfer you to Lien Khuong airport for our return flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Be picked up and transferred back to your hotel in HCMC.
Trip ends.

Payment term and changes
The terms and conditions described below are an integral part of any agreement, oral or written, between Inbound Vietnam Travel Company (hereinabove referred to as IVN) and a physical client or legal person (referred to as “the Customer”).
In the absence of another agreement/contract between Inbound Vietnam Travel and the Customer is fully governed by these Terms and Conditions, which is the commitment to purchase tour services.
1. Deposits & Payment Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total of the tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. Full payment must be made at least 30 days before departure.
In some specific cases, we can accept payment upon arrival. Accordingly, the Customer must pay the remaining amount on the first day of the trip. In case of non-compliance with this commitment without the consent of IVN, IVN reserves the right to cancel the trip without refunding the deposit paid by the Customer.
From the payment of a deposit or balance, Inbound Vietnam Travel creates a receipt and sends the Customer before or upon arrival in Vietnam, or by email or fax, or by hand at IVN’s office.
2. Payment Method

- One Pay payment gateway: The Customer can pay by credit card via a secure online payment system (3.5% service charge is applied to Visa/Master cards; 4.5% service charge is applied to AMEX cards)
- Cash: The cash payment is made at Inbound Vietnam Travel’s office or with persons designated. In this case, no fee is required.
3. Cancellation Policy
At Inbound Vietnam Travel, we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our guests but we must abide by the cancellation policy of each service provider. Bellows are general cancellation policy for:
Cancellation from date of confirmation to 30 to 7 days before departure date: only the deposit is forfeited as processing fees.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before departure date or no show: charge 100% of total amount.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is highly recommended to anyone who takes part in a trip organized by IVN to have travel insurance cover contracted in their home country. IVN may have to ask the Customer for certificate of insurance and assistance.
